We’re over the moon to announce that two wonderful new team members are joining the Matthew’s House family this May! 💛
After a moving and competitive recruitment process, we are thrilled to welcome:
🌼 Becci – Full-Time Fundraising, Finance & Project Co-ordinator
Becci brings a huge heart for people, a sharp eye for organisation, and bags of energy and humour. With valuable experience supporting vulnerable individuals and communities, she’ll be playing a key role across fundraising, finance, and project coordination. Becci will be with us Monday to Friday and some Sundays, and we’re certain she’s going to bring something really special to the house.
🌿 Dan – Part-Time Project Co-ordinator
Dan joins us with over 15 years of leadership in community projects, including youth work and tackling social isolation. He’s passionate about inclusion, belonging, and helping people find connection and hope. Dan will be with us on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. His calm strength and deep compassion will be a gift to our guests and team alike.
This new chapter comes at a bittersweet moment, as we prepare to say goodbye to our much-loved Adam, who is returning to Australia. Adam’s contribution has been huge, and his legacy of kindness, creativity, and consistency will stay with us. We’re so thankful that Becci and Dan will have time to learn from him (and the rest of us!) before he leaves.
