On Wednesday 17th July, the iconic Grand Theatre Swansea hosted not only a stunning performance of Les Misérables by the talented Abbey Players, but also a powerful show of generosity and support for Matthew’s House.
Thanks to the kindness of theatre-goers and the invitation from Abbey Players, we were delighted to raise £99.44 after the performance – all of which will go directly towards sharing hospitality and hope with the people of Swansea who need it most.
Our incredible volunteers were there collecting at the end of the night, sharing smiles, stories and booklets with passersby. It was more than just a fundraiser – it was a chance to connect with the wider community, share the heart behind our work, and invite others into the Matthew’s House story.
💛 Every penny raised will help provide hot meals, showers, dignity packs, and 1:1 support through our Buddy scheme, as well as sustain the many other services we offer from our base in the city.
