What better way to mark two milestone birthdays than with friends, music, and a generous heart?
Earlier this year, Ian and Lynsey celebrated their 50th birthdays in unforgettable style with “Lindsey Fest” — a lively, all-day event packed with live music, choirs, and even immersive virtual reality experiences. But they didn’t just celebrate themselves. Together, they turned the day into an incredible act of kindness — raising an amazing £2,218.95 in support of Matthew’s House, Swansea.
This fantastic total came from generous donations on the day (£1,063.95) plus an additional incredible gift of £1,155 from GameDigits Ltd (Ian’s own company).
A Celebration with Purpose
The idea to transform their party into a fundraiser came from Ian and Lynsey’s generosity and desire to make a difference. Friends, family, and community members joined the festivities, all while supporting a cause close to their hearts.
Two of our long-standing volunteers, Rachel and John Palmer, attended the event and shared with guests about the vital work Matthew’s House does — offering hospitality, meals, dignity, and hope to those facing extreme need in Swansea.
Powered by Community and Creativity
Thanks to support from GameDigits Ltd, guests also enjoyed cutting-edge virtual reality experiences that made the day extra special. With multiple bands, choirs, and a buzzing atmosphere, Lindsey Fest was a true party to remember!
Our Thanks 💛
We are incredibly grateful to Ian, Lynsey, GameDigits, and every single person who attended and donated. Your kindness means the world to us. Celebrations like this remind us that community is at its best when people come together not just to mark special moments, but to share love and compassion.
Your generosity helps us continue to be a place of welcome and support in the heart of Swansea.
Thank you, Ian and Lynsey — and happy 50th to you both! 🥳
