Hope in Swansea Journey Continues as Bristol Explores Launching Hope App

What if there was one place where people could quickly find real help across the city. Food. Housing support. Mental health. Advice. Community. Hope.

That idea became Hope in Swansea. A free app connecting people to over 170 verified support services across our city.

It was never built by one person. It was shaped by volunteers, charities, council partners, frontline workers and a community that believed Swansea could work better together.

Yesterday we took that journey a step further. March 2026!

We travelled to Bristol to sit with leaders from charities, the council, police and the Safer Bristol partnership to share the story of Hope in Swansea and explore what it might look like for their city.

It was special to watch people from another city begin to imagine how something that started in Swansea could help their communities too.

Hope in Swansea was always meant to be a gift to our city. To now see that gift potentially shared with other places is both humbling and exciting.

We are still early in the journey. But the conversations were encouraging and full of possibility.

If you live in Swansea you can download Hope in Swansea for free today and explore the support available across the city.

And wherever you are, keep rooting for hope in your city and ours.

Thank you for supporting us on the journey.
